Christmas Festivities in Caernarfon this Year

November is upon us and with all the Christmas Adverts airing, it is definitely acceptable to embrace the Christmas festivities. There are always some fantastic Christmas events in Caernarfon and they are guaranteed to get you raring and ready for the festive period ahead.

There will be a Christmas Market held at Galeri Caernarfon, a non-profit centre that offers a range of activities from music and theatre to dance and workshops. The market will be held on November 19th from 10am – 3pm and admission is free. As an annual event, the market has grown each year with 2017 set to be even better than the last.

There will be a number of local producers and stalls selling perfectly crafted gifts, including Welsh Mountain Jewellery who create beautiful pieces from Welsh Cambrian slate, Blodau Lineke’s flowers, Pant Du who are a Vineyard and Orchard situated in Snowdonia, Inc Pinc who specialise in Handmade cards and invitations and more. Buying from local producers is a brilliant way to support the community and champion some of the fantastic Welsh businesses we have in the area. It’s also a way to find some unique and thoughtful gifts for loved ones that may not be available in the high street shops.

As we know, Christmas is hugely about the food and drink so make sure to indulge in some of the special festive dishes that will be available from the cafe, after all – it is the time to treat yourself. This is an event that is sure to impress, with lot’s of stalls, entertainment and more – it’s a must for anyone looking for something festive to do this November.
