Ty’n Rhos boutique country house in Snowdonia originally started life as a farmstead developing over the years to its current standing of 19 bedrooms, large conservatory, comfortable lounge, cosy bar and elegant dining room. We have ample free car parking and complimentary WIFI in all areas. All en-suite bedrooms are individually styled with quality furnishings. Some rooms overlooking the rear garden offer wonderful views towards Anglesey, many ground floor rooms boasting their own terrace or garden.
Ty’n Rhos Country House is graded as 5* Guest Accommodation by Visit Wales. Located on the open plain just 6 miles from Snowdonia National Park, 5 miles from both Caernarfon and Bangor, 3 miles off the A55 express-way and a 5-minute drive to the Menai Bridge for Anglesey. Offering an ideal location to travel and sight-see the North Wales area yet located in a very quiet and peaceful setting to relax, unwind and enjoy the rural location with open farmland surrounding the property.
The property is owned by the Murphy family. Experienced hoteliers previously owning Farthings Country House in Somerset, we strive to deliver you quality accommodation, superb freshly cooked breakfasts, and dinners in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere.
Ty’n Rhos is closed on Sunday and Monday’s.
Restaurant
A cosy intimate dining experience featuring fresh quality produce, beautifully prepared and presented for you to enjoy by our friendly and professional team.
Conservatory
A light bright area on the rear of the property overlooking the spacious gardens and opening onto a beautiful terrace. An ideal space for a pre-dinner drink to enjoy with your canapes whilst studying our menu and wine list, before making your way through to the restaurant for your dinner.
Lounge
A relaxing quiet space perfect for after dinner with a coffee and tipple on a cosy winters evening.
Terrace
Both the restaurants and conservatory open onto a large, beautiful terrace. Perfect area to enjoy after a day out with a glass of something. In fine weather tables are set for evening dinner. Afternoon teas can also be served on our terrace. But the highlight is the stunning orange sunsets to behold after dinner.
Gardens
Our large gardens are in keeping with the surrounding landscape with large mature trees, a fishpond (you can always ask to feed our fish – but watch out for our mini shark) and raised vegetable and herb beds. Large lawn areas for you to walk around and should you wish to arrive by helicopter it can be landed on our rear lawn.
